Chill Packer / Yard Operative – Bellshill
Hourly Rate: £12.37 + Overtime & Premium Pay
Contract: Full-Time | 5 Days Over 7 | Rotating Shifts
Join Our Team in Bellshill! We’re looking for reliable and motivated Chill Packers / Yard Operatives to join our busy warehouse team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a fast‑paced environment with great pay and excellent overtime rates.
Shift Pattern
- Dayshift: 05:30 start
- Backshift: 13:30 start
- Occasional Nightshift: 21:30 start (Flexibility is essential as shifts rotate across these times.)
Pay & Premiums
- Basic Rate: £12.37 per hour
- Saturday: 1.25 × basic hourly rate
- Sunday: 1.5 × basic hourly rate
- Public Holidays: 2 × basic hourly rate
- Unsociable Hours (6 PM – 4 AM): +23%
- Overtime (above 39 hours): 1.5 × basic hourly rate
Please be aware that Bellshill is currently transitioning from weekly to monthly pay.
Key Responsibilities
- Pack milk and cream within the chill area into trolleys or pallets
- Operate robotic packers and shrink‑wrappers
- Use manual handling aids (Mastermover, Viper, pallet wrapper)
- Manage waste streams and recyclable packaging
- Clean trailers and empty trolleysComplete paperwork for full traceability
- Maintain high standards of hygiene and food safety

- Previous experience in despatch or cold store work (desirable)
