What you'll be doing:
- Leading a complex CapEx and facilities spend area across capital projects, production equipment and engineering services, managing £100m of external spend.
- Creating and delivering category strategies aligned to business and group priorities.
- Building strong partnerships with engineering and senior stakeholders to drive specification engagement and compliance.
- Providing market insight, data analysis and recommendations to support planning and decision making.
- Managing suppliers through effective relationship strategies to deliver against KPIs and unlock long‑term value.
- Supporting strategic projects including major investments and new product launches.
- Driving continuous improvement and efficiency across sourcing activities and processes.
What we're looking for:
- Proven procurement experience in CapEx, engineering or technical categories.
- Strong commercial acumen with the ability to influence and challenge to drive value.
- Confident stakeholder manager, able to communicate and present effectively at all levels.
- Ability to turn strategy into action and deliver sourcing activity at pace.
- Strong data analysis and insight capability.
- Solid project management skills across complex sourcing events.
- Knowledge of procurement processes and controls, ideally with CIPS L5/6 qualification.
