Location and Hours
Location: Droitwich
Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday – Friday
Key Responsibilities
- Provide reactive support for site automation issues.
- Demonstrate structured problem‑solving skills.
- Manage minor automation Capex projects through their full lifecycle.
- Support the delivery of site projects with automation elements.
- Facilitate site activities for centrally delivered Capex projects.
- Maintain and monitor automation and electrical system software.
- Ensure compliance with group electrical and automation standards.
- Manage obsolescence within the roadmap and improve site controls.
- Evaluate performance data to enhance production efficiency.
- Conduct site panel risk assessments and health checks.
- Offer specialist automation support for site improvement initiatives.
- Validate and analyse site data to support quality improvement activities.
Muller Responsibilities
- Play an active role in continuously improving our business.
- Encourage engineering‑based OE projects.
- Support site roadmaps for Quality, HS, EMS, Engineering, and Autonomous Maintenance.
- Deliver your own ideas to improve our business.
- Participate in improvement activities within engineering‑owned areas.
- Understand the impact of actions on achieving site/business goals.
- Provide on‑the‑job training to new colleagues.
- Ensure health and safety for yourself and others.
What We’re Looking For
- Strong experience with Allen Bradley PLCs.
- Excellent electrical skills.
- Ability to work independently on projects.
- Previous experience in a similar Automation Engineer role.
- FMCG industry experience preferred.
- Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment.
- IT literacy is essential.
