We are currently looking to recruit for a Process Operative to join our Process Department at our Droitwich Dairy within our Mller Milk & Ingredients business. The purpose of this role is to ensure the smooth running of the raw milk intake, fresh milk processing, cream processing, cream export reclaim area and chemical offload area. In addition to carrying out lab testing to analyse, record and report lab results in relation to all required processing lab tests.
Contract: Full Time/Permanent
Salary: £33,666.39
Shift Pattern: 4 on 4 off (2 days and 2 nights 7-7)
Location: Droitwich
Responsibilities will include but not be limited to the following:
- Checking and recording of all relevant paperwork.
- Sampling and testing of raw products.
- Loading tankers.
- Liaising with the other production departments.
- Follow Standard Operating Procedures.
- Operate equipment and processes effectively, including asset care, maximising output, adherence to plan, waste reduction and cost savings.
- Undertake any other duties as required.
- Quality assurance.
- Continuous improvement.
- Manufacturing experience ideally in a food environment.
- Production experience ideally in a food environment.
