We are currently looking to recruit Goods in Operative to join our Goods in Department at our Severnside Dairy within our Mller Milk & Ingredients business. The Purpose of this role is to utilise technical knowledge to operate machinery/processes in the most effective and safe way. To produce the best quality finished product, working within the Muller values and standards.
Contract: Full Time/Permanent
Shift Pattern: 4 on 4 off Days and Nights (7am-7pm and 7pm-7am)
Location: Severnside
Salary: £35,842.06
Please note you are required to hold Fork Lift License.
Responsibilities will include but not be limited to the following:
- Owner of stock control processes and procurement of site chemicals and waste export
- Be the lead in Materials Traceability exercises
- Consistent quality control inspection and awareness, assuring customer expectations and product standards are maintained
- Operate equipment and processes effectively, including asset care, maximising output, adherence to plan, waste reduction and cost savings
- Performing accredited chemical testing where applicable
- Deliver and support the training of colleagues on job related tasks
