With significant investment transforming our site into one of the most advanced dairy facilities in the UK, we're now expanding our engineering team and looking for Engineering Technicians to play a key role in supporting a highly automated, next-generation production environment.
This is a unique opportunity to work at the forefront of modern manufacturing - combining cutting-edge technology, large-scale automation and ongoing site transformation.
What you'll be doing:
- Delivering planned preventative maintenance (PPM) to maximise equipment reliability.
- Responding to breakdowns efficiently, minimising downtime in a fast-paced production environment.
- Supporting continuous improvement initiatives and engineering upgrades.
- Collaborating with operations to drive safety, quality and performance.
- Supporting the installation, commissioning and integration of new equipment.
What you'll be working with:
- Highly automated process and filling lines with advanced PLC systems.
- High-speed blow moulding and hygienic filling technology.
- Multi-axis robotic packaging systems.
- One of the UK's largest pallet cooling and transport systems.
- Site-wide infrastructure including Combined Heat & Power (CHP) and advanced compressed air systems.
- Sustainability and recycling technologies.
What we're looking for:
- A time-served Engineering Apprenticeship or Level 3 qualification in an Engineering discipline.
- Experience within a manufacturing or production environment.
- Strong knowledge of reactive and preventative maintenance.
- Experience working with automation, robotics or process equipment (desirable).
- A proactive approach with strong problem-solving skills.
- A team player committed to high safety and performance standards.
