Contract: 9-12 month Fixed-Term Contract / Secondment
Location: This role can be based out of any of our MMI sites: Bellshill, Bridgwater, Droitwich, Manchester, Market Drayton, Severnside or Skelmersdale, with travel across sites as needed.
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced HR Business Partner to join our HR leadership team. This role partners closely with Corporate Functional Directors and senior leaders to deliver strategic people plans that support performance, engagement and long-term sustainability. You will play a key role in shaping organisational design, leading change programmes and acting as a trusted coach to leadership teams. Working in a fast-paced environment, you will influence at senior level, challenge constructively and ensure HR solutions are practical, commercially focused and people-centred.
Key responsibilities:
- Partner Directors and Heads of Function to deliver strategic, future-focused people plans
- Lead organisational design, restructure and change activity
- Drive performance management, engagement and leadership capability
- Own talent and succession planning for your business areas
- Lead HR workstreams on strategic projects and UK or Group initiatives
- Manage ER activity, headcount, budgets and HR data accuracy
- Line manage and develop one direct report
What we are looking for:
- Proven experience in a senior HR Business Partner or HR Manager role
- Strong organisational change and restructure experience
- Confident influencing and coaching senior stakeholders
- Solid UK employment law and ER knowledge
- Experience leading and developing HR teams
- FMCG or unionised environment experience desirable
- CIPD qualified or equivalent preferred
