You will provide financial decision-making support to Operations and Supply Chain business functions and act as finance lead in driving improvements to performance. To ensure Ops & SC budgets are optimised and to act as business partner for the Supply Chain Director. The role is located at Market Drayton with a hybrid working model – 3 days on site per week. Senior Operations & Supply Chain Finance Business Partner key responsibilities will include Drive consistency and standardisation in ways of working across all sites and drive efficiencies in completion of month end and monthly forecasting Oversee the month end process ensuring accurate reporting of month end actual performance to strict deadlines Act as No 2 for Financial Controller Operations & Supply Chain supporting Operations where required Build effective collaboration and sharing of best practice between Ops & SC Controlling and the business unit leadership team Support Commercial Teams with new Tenders, including 3rd Party Co-Packing ensuring costings provided are robust and key cost drivers are understood. Provide the Controlling Leadership and MYD Leadership team with clear, timely accurate management reporting to support improved business performance Co-ordinate and facilitate the detailed Budget and forecasting process with responsibility for explaining key variances. Build relationships with Group Colleagues to support implementation of group standards and sharing of ideas and best practice across MYD Ops & SC Work collaboratively with the Ops Controlling team to develop best practice, improve processes and ensure consistency of approach. Effectively challenge the Ops & SC Teams to drive improved performance and focus on value added initiatives. Provide support and challenge in delivering Ops & SC Strategy Key skills & experience for the Senior Operations & Supply Chain Finance Business Partner- Qualified Accountant with 5 + years PQE Proven experience within FMCG with the ability to operate at all levels Excellent communication skills with the ability to manage and influence SAP experience Ability to develop strong relationships with Ops & SC Leadership Teams Ability to understand full process and drive improvements to enable accurate reporting of performance Drive change agenda from a financial perspective Self starter with the ability to business partner and influence decision making within the Ops & SC teams Mller pride ourselves on offering support to help develop your knowledge and skills.
