This is a newly created multi-site role requiring a minimum of 3 days per week on-site across our UK manufacturing locations.

What you'll be doing

As Central Technical Auditor, you'll act as a subject matter expert in food safety and quality auditing, ensuring all sites meet the MMI Manufacturing Standard and driving sustainable improvement. Key responsibilities include:

  • Conducting technical audits across multiple manufacturing sites
  • Identifying non-conformances and leading robust root cause analysis & CAPA
  • Supporting sites to eliminate repeat issues and improve audit outcomes
  • Delivering and facilitating Quality Roadmap cycles across the network
  • Tracking trends and analysing repeat non-conformance data
  • Coaching and influencing site teams to embed best practice and technical capability
  • Supporting external audit readiness and compliance with standards
  • Reporting on KPIs, audit performance, and risk areas to senior stakeholders

What we're looking for

We're looking for a confident and credible technical professional who can challenge, influence and drive change across multiple sites.

Essential:

  • Degree in Food Science, Microbiology, Dairy Science or similar
  • Experience in a food manufacturing quality role (FMCG)
  • Auditing experience within food safety/quality environments
  • Strong knowledge of BRCGS, HACCP, TACCP/VACCP
  • Ability to conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
