What you'll be doing:
As Central Technical Auditor, you'll act as a subject matter expert in food safety and quality auditing, ensuring all sites meet the MMI Manufacturing Standard and driving sustainable improvement. Key responsibilities include:
- Conducting technical audits across multiple manufacturing sites
- Identifying non-conformances and leading robust root cause analysis & CAPA
- Supporting sites to eliminate repeat issues and improve audit outcomes
- Delivering and facilitating Quality Roadmap cycles across the network
- Tracking trends and analysing repeat non-conformance data
- Coaching and influencing site teams to embed best practice and technical capability
- Supporting external audit readiness and compliance with standards
- Reporting on KPIs, audit performance, and risk areas to senior stakeholders
What we're looking for:
We're looking for a confident and credible technical professional who can challenge, influence and drive change across multiple sites. Essential:
- Degree in Food Science, Microbiology, Dairy Science or similar
- Experience in a food manufacturing quality role (FMCG)
- Auditing experience within food safety/quality environments
- Strong knowledge of BRCGS, HACCP, TACCP/VACCP
- Ability to conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
