Due to an internal move, we now have an open space for somebody to join us in Severnside as an Asset Care Technician, on a full time basis. The role of Asset Care Technician is to be front line support with breakdowns and repairs in PLFM and carry out maintenance tasks. It is crucial that the Asset Care Technician understands and is able to operate all machines within their area. You will carry out SRC checks and assist with escalations, continuous improvement activities and line optimization.

Main tasks of an Asset Care Technician:

  • Front line support to PLFM assets, breakdowns, maintenance and line setting
  • Actively attend meetings (Pulse, Top Loss and WPR)
  • Observe and report on machinery or component defects / symptoms of impending failure
  • Always work in line with H&S guidelines
  • Operating production machinery
  • Using the CMMS system to accurately record information
