We are now recruiting for a Multi-Utilities Designer to join our team!
You will be responsible for designing multi-utility networks (electric, water and gas) across a variety of development types, from quote acceptance through to technical approval.
As our Multi-Utilities Designer you will be specifically responsible for:
Managing a portfolio of multi-utility design projects in compliance with technical standards and regulations.
Overseeing the full design lifecycle from quotation to adoption, maintaining accurate documentation and meeting project milestones.
Collaborating with design engineers, operations, and commercial teams to ensure seamless project delivery.
Liaising with developers, network operators, and water companies to support successful project outcomes.
Monitoring project scope, costs, and specifications, and manage variations in line with commercial procedures.
In order to be successful in this role you must have:
Experience designing single or multi-utility projects in domestic, commercial, and multiple-occupancy settings.
Understanding of CDM Regulations and their application to design.
Ability to interpret complex engineering drawings and commercial documentation.
Excellent IT literacy (MS Word, Excel, Outlook).
It would be great if you had:
Knowledge of SPEN Radar, WINDEBUT/SNAP, or similar software.
Minimum of HNC in an Engineering-related discipline.
Applicants must hold a full UK driving licence, be eligible to work in the UK, and live within a commutable distance of Livingston.
