We are looking for a POD Administrator to join our established POD Team at our Head Office in Dromore, Co. Down. Its a really exciting time to join the business with a trailer fleet exceeding 1200 and a new warehousing facility opening soon to meet the demands of our customers. This role presents an amazing opportunity for a competent well organised administrator to join a growing established employer.

Job Overview

The ideal person will have the ability to work using their own initiative and require a good understanding of written and spoken English to recover, record and distribute proof of delivery documents within pre-agreed timescales. They should be able to work to deadlines with strong attention to detail. They will be required to work with other business departments and communicate effectively.

Job Duties

The POD Administrator will be responsible for:

  • Ensuring that proof of delivery documents are recovered from drivers for all deliveries
  • Ensuring that proof of delivery details are recorded on the traffic management system
  • Ensuring that all proof of delivery documents are scanned and transmitted as required by the customer and to an agreed timescale
  • Answer email queries from both internal and external sources.
  • Working to deadlines to ensure reporting to customers
  • Any other administrative tasks as required

Essential

  • Educated to GCSE level.
  • Experience in road haulage sector
  • Strong IT skills, proficient in the use of Microsoft office
