Mulgrew Haulage Ltd, established in 1973, provides haulage and warehousing services operating an extensive fleet of modern trucks and curtain side trailers delivering unit loads throughout Ireland and the UK. Servicing the food, drink, and packaging industries, we pride ourselves on the service given to our many blue-chip customers.
These additional roles are being created to assist and strengthen the existing fleet maintenance team with the scheduled servicing and general repairs to our ever-increasing fleet. It is our goal to continually provide and maintain the highest possible standards within our industry for others to follow. Based in our 7-bay maintenance facility at Culcavy, Hillsborough, Co. Down, the successful applicants will conduct all aspects of planned and unplanned maintenance & inspections of a large fleet of curtain sided trailers and tractor units in a safe and efficient manner.
Role:- Maintenance, service and repair of HGV Trucks and Trailers
- Vehicle Inspections
- Pre PSV inspection & preparation
- Call out to breakdowns, fault diagnosis, and repairs
- Work to strict deadlines and planned workload
- Complete all relevant paperwork and documentation
- React to changing situations to accommodate additional workload and reduce delays

Criteria:- Ideally hold an industry recognised qualification and 2 years experience in a similar role
- Welding experience preferred
- HGV licence preferred but not essential
- Self-motivated with strong problem-solving skills
- Must be a positive & customer-focused individual
- Effective communication skills & literacy skills
- Flexible approach to working hours in a dynamic environment
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Awareness of health and safety standards
