We are seeking a skilled MIG Fabricator/Welder to join our sub assembly fabrication department. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of welding techniques and be proficient in working with steel. This role requires attention to detail and the ability to fabricate and assemble components accurately. You will play a crucial role in ensuring high-quality production standards are met.
Duties:
- Perform MIG steel welding, ensuring strong and clean welds, to a high quality.
- Assemble & fabricate parts according to specifications.
- Utilise hand tools and power tools effectively to complete welding tasks.
- Maintain stringent quality standards.
- Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines while adhering to safety protocols.
- Maintain a clean and organised work area, ensuring all tools and equipment are stored properly.
Experience:
- Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and safety practices in a workshop environment.
- Previous experience in chassis fabrication.
- Able to read fabrication drawings.
