As a Warehouse Coordinator you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations for our logistics operation during your assigned shift.
You will help manage a team of employees, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and according to company policies and procedure.
Your role will be vital in maintaining a smooth and productive workflow, meeting customer demands, and optimizing the overall efficiency of Mulberry’s logistics operation.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Leading the Warehouse Team
- Provide leadership and guidance to a team of dedicated warehouse operatives.
- Assign tasks and responsibilities to team members, ensuring a smooth workflow.
- Foster a culture of excellence, professionalism, and attention to detail.
- Resolve any operational issues or conflicts that arise during your shift, escalating to upper management when necessary.
- Efficient Operations
- Develop and implement streamlined processes and procedures to expedite operations.
- Continuously monitor and improve productivity levels to meet or exceed targets.
Monitor and analyse key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
- Resolve any operational issues or conflicts that arise during your shift, escalating to upper management when necessary.

- Uphold strict health and safety standards to safeguard both employees and products.
- Conduct regular safety inspections and ensure compliance with regulations.

- Provide support to Warehouse operatives within the area, covering training/ mentoring and providing assistance when required.
- Support the Warehouse Lead in preparation for the teams regular 1-2-1 meetings.

Skills and Knowledge Required
- Previous experience in logistics management or a related field, preferably in a supervisory role.
- Strong knowledge of logistics operations, including warehouse management, inventory control, and transportation.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively manage and motivate a diverse team.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a proactive and results-oriented mindset.
- Proficiency in using logistics management software and tools, such as inventory management and systems software (preferably Manhattan.)
- Sound understanding of health and safety regulations and compliance requirements.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Flexibility to work different shifts, including weekends, and Bank Holidays, as required.
- Excellent numeracy skills and confident in using Microsoft Excel.
