Scope of Role: You will be part of the Quality Inspection Team, carrying out inspections of our bags and raw materials both inline (during the production process) and end of line (finished goods).
Duties and Responsibilities:
- To inspect all finished goods to the correct standards using the Sealed Sample and 1st Production Sample.
- Carry out Packing on finished goods using the correct Packing Specifications.
- Bring to the attention of the Supervisor/Manager any trends so they can be resolved.
- Manage the relevant reporting process including inspection, non-conformance, delivery etc ensuring the correct paperwork is completed so that quality can be analysed.
- Work in a timely manner to ensure that all products are cleared by the end of the week.
- Carry out In line Inspection of lines.
- Work collaboratively with the Materials Technologists to carry out inspections on raw materials and components including rub test, light fastness, water spot etc.
- Complete random quality checks of leather and components, recording the results following Mulberry's set standards and distributing in a timely manner to relevant partners.
- Provide accurate and relevant information so leather allowances can be accurately monitored and reviewed by the costings team.
- Maintain the lab and testing equipment.
- Assist in any other areas of the Department as necessary.
