We are looking for an experienced Attendance and Welfare Officer to take on a key role within the pastoral and safeguarding team at Mulberry UTC.
The successful candidate will have:
- Successful previous experience in a similar role or with appropriate background
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- An ability to relate well to young people and adults, and to work constructively as part of a diverse team
- An understanding of relevant legislation relating to safeguarding and child protection
- Commitment to forming positive relationships with young people and adults in a school environment
- The ability to work successfully in a busy school environment
Responsibilities:
- Identify and support attendance and welfare needs of students in line with safeguarding policies.
- Collaborate with pastoral and safeguarding teams to promote a safe and positive school environment.
Requirements:
