An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Client Services Team Manager to join a well-established organisation within the employee benefits and insurance sector.
Reporting to the Head of Client Services, you will be responsible for leading a team of Client Services Specialists who deliver a high standard of service to a portfolio of clients. You will play a key role within the leadership team, ensuring operational efficiency, strong client outcomes, and consistent delivery against KPIs, regulatory, and service level requirements. This role offers hybrid working following successful completion of training.
Key ResponsibilitiesThis is not an exhaustive list of duties but will include:
- Lead, motivate, and develop a team of Client Services Specialists to deliver excellent customer service
- Drive team engagement through clear, proactive communication and collaboration
- Set and manage individual and team objectives aligned to business and client expectations
- Monitor performance against financial, operational, service, and quality KPIs
- Conduct regular 1-2-1 meetings and annual performance reviews
- Identify skills gaps and training needs, supporting ongoing development within the team
- Build and maintain strong professional relationships with Sales Consultants, Clients, and Insurers
- Identify opportunities to improve products and services within the existing client portfolio
- Attend internal and external meetings, including insurer meetings and product training
- Provide a professional telephone service to internal and external stakeholders when required
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and service level agreements
- Previous experience as a Team Manager or Team Leader
- Strong people management experience, including coaching, motivation, and performance management
- Proven experience of working to financial, operational, service, and quality KPIs
- Highly organised with strong prioritisation and time-management skills
- A confident leader who leads by example and acts as a role model
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Hybrid working available following training sign-off
- Competitive salary up to £36,000 depending on experience
- Pre-employment checks will be required
