We are recruiting for a digital marketing agency who are seeking a Social Media Manager to join their team as the client base grows. We are looking for a confident, strategic Social Media Manager to play a pivotal role in shaping and delivering social media campaigns, mentoring team members, and building strong relationships with clients.
Daily Duties
- Develop and implement social media strategies for client accounts, aligned to their wider marketing objectives.
- Translate briefs into engaging and effective content plans across relevant platforms.
- Stay informed on platform updates and best practices to ensure strategic recommendations are current and impactful.
- Act as the day-to-day client lead for social accounts, building trust and proactively identifying ways to add value.
- Present content calendars, performance updates, and strategic recommendations with clarity and confidence.
- Collaborate with Account Managers to integrate social media within broader marketing activity.
- Line manage and support the team (currently 2 reports), providing structure, feedback, and development opportunities.
- Contribute to a positive, high-performing culture within the social team.
- Support resource planning, briefing freelancers or internal collaborators where needed.
