A great opportunity to progress for a Senior Administrator, based in Sunbury-on-Thames, you will be responsible for the preparation, administration of commercial contracts and wider key compliance functions. You will play a pivotal role in export control compliance and anti‑bribery governance, while also assisting with anti‑counterfeit activity, data protection administration and general compliance enquiries.
The hours of work are 38.5 hours per week. The working pattern will be either 8 am – 5 pm or 8.30 am – 5.30 pm Monday to Thursday with an unpaid lunch break and 8 am – 3 pm or 8.30 am – 3.30 pm on a Friday with a 30‑minute unpaid lunch break.
Responsibilities- Draft and administer customer contracts through signature; manage negotiations and escalates complex issues; maintain the contracts database.
- Review restricted party screening matches; coordinate export compliance declarations; manage UK export classifications; assist with compliance documentation (e.g., ECCN, country of origin, dual‑use).
- Chair the Bribery Committee and lead the annual meeting; monitor regulatory developments; maintain the anti‑bribery risk assessment; manage referrals and the gifts and hospitality register.
- Respond to enquiries, prepare compliance statements, deliver training, and support compliance projects and investigations.
- Liaise with external providers and manage related documentation for enforcement and customer support.
- Provide administrative support and maintain required data protection records and logs.
- Strong administration experience within any sector.
- Working knowledge of Excel, Word, and email.
- Ability to research and grasp complex issues and act on own initiative.
- Excellent written English.
- Aptitude for detailed administrative work.
- Good organisational skills, ability to liaise with a range of people – including senior‑level colleagues and customers.
- Proactive, flexible, diplomatic and the ability to work on own initiative as well as cooperate in a team environment is essential.
- Educated to A Level or equivalent.
