We\’re looking for a Sales Engineer to drive UK sales and support European agents, selling sophisticated laboratory testing systems (£30K-£150K) to universities, research institutions, and commercial laboratories that value precision and reliability.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the full sales cycle across the UK and Europe — from lead generation to close.
  • Build and nurture long-term relationships with laboratory and engineering clients.
  • Support international sales agents through training, joint visits, and technical guidance.
  • Represent the company at industry exhibitions and trade shows.
  • Collaborate with internal technical teams to deliver tailored, consultative solutions.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years\’ experience selling complex or technical equipment to laboratories or industrial clients.
  • Strong consultative sales skills and ability to manage long (6-18 month) sales cycles.
  • Confident working with technical professionals and decision-making committees.
  • Interest in engineering, geotechnical, or scientific equipment.
  • Willingness to travel up to 50% across the UK and occasionally Europe.
