Salary: £35,000 + benefits

Hours: 6.30am - 4.30pm Monday to Friday

My client who are based in Bracknell are seeking a Transport or Logistics Coordinator to join their team. We are ideally looking for candidates who have experience in Logistics, Transport or Shipping. The ideal candidate will have excellent organisational skills and be able to build strong relationships with drivers.

Daily Duties:

  • To prepare daily work schedule for vehicles
  • Communicate with drivers
  • Ensure that the performance of drivers is effectively managed
  • Manage holiday schedules and time keeping of all drivers
  • Identify and rectify any missed collections (manage the customers' expectations)
  • To ensure all vehicles attend the scheduled service intervals

Person Specification:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills (phone & email)
  • Experience with logistics/planning: 3 years
  • A high level of accuracy is essential
  • Accountable for results and long-term business objectives
  • Must be a good team player and work well under own initiative
  • Strong business acumen and excellent customer service experience
  • Possess excellent organisational skills, meeting deadlines, planning and prioritising
  • Strong conflict resolution and problem-solving skills
  • Must possess excellent negotiation skills and be effective at managing relationships
