We are looking for an experienced and commercially savvy Product Manager to lead the strategic direction, growth, and day-to-day management of our products. This role is ideal for someone with strong analytical capabilities, creative flair, and excellent communication skills. You will work closely with key retailers, suppliers, and internal teams to deliver compelling marketing strategies, product launches, and promotions that drive growth and category leadership.
The Product Manager will be responsible for:
- Working alongside Directors and Heads of Marketing to develop effective annual sales in and sales out plans for a number of Key Brands which delivers Commercial and Brand targets.
- Monthly updates for Brand plans with course corrections when necessary.
- Develop and implement robust sell in decks with rationale for all product, pricing, promotional recommendations, sales out initiatives such as consumer promotions, competitions etc. and online presence across all Key Brands.
- Identify Key Brand stakeholders and build positive relationships which delivers mutually beneficial market successes; pitching for A&P funding, collaterals and soft media assets.
- Maintain a good understanding of roles, responsibilities and key contacts within each Key Customer account and know how all account contacts interact and how decisions are made.
- All admin related to account specific spend carried out within process and in a timely manner.
- Manage and contribute to social media, including group editorial calendar; LinkedIn, Facebook, I.G Twitter.
- Lead the editorial, design, production and propagation of marketing outputs.
- Co-ordinate the design of artwork for documentation, banners, exhibition displays, adverts, vehicles graphics.
- Manage e-mail marketing campaigns.
Major objectives and outcomes:
- Take ownership of projects and coordinate with key Brand stakeholders to deliver strategies on time and within a budget.
- Research competitors and similar products, and analyse market trends.
- A creative thinker, able to provoke new ideas, storyboards and driving the execution of full-scale communication designs.
- First-class writing and editing skills are required including the ability to write press releases, social media messages and blog posts.
Key Skills & Experience:
- 3+ years experience in a product or brand marketing role, ideally within FMCG or the food industry.
- Demonstrated success managing a portfolio of food products.
- Strong analytical skills - comfortable working with sales, consumer, and category data.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills - able to create clear, compelling presentations and reports.
- Confident managing supplier relationships across different cultures and time zones.
