Vehicle Technician Location: Haslemere Salary: £38,000 - £50,000 DOE Hours: Full Time, Mon-Fri, 8am-6pm Our friendly client are well-established independent garage with a strong reputation for quality workmanship and honest service meaning they have a lot of repeat customers and welcome new business through word of mouth and recommendations. This is a genuine all-round mechanical role with a varied workload ranging from routine servicing and maintenance through to more involved mechanical repairs. Main Duties Servicing and routine maintenance Brakes and suspension Clutches and dual-mass flywheels Cambelts and wet belts Exhausts Tyres General mechanical repairs Fault finding and diagnostics Identifying faults and advising on the appropriate repairs Working across a wide range of makes and models Ideal Candidate: 5+ years' hands-on experience as a Vehicle Technician or Motor Mechanic Strong general mechanical knowledge Good diagnostic and fault-finding skills Experience working on a variety of makes and models Experience carrying out a broad range of mechanical repairs The ability to work confidently and efficiently without constant supervision A good standard of workmanship and attention to detail A reliable and conscientious approach Experience in an independent garage or similarly varied workshop environment An MOT Tester licence would be beneficial but is not essential as we would put someone through their MOT training Benefits 28 days holiday including Bank holidays (ie 20 plus bank holidays) Employee Assistance Package Onsite parking
