My client, based in Dorking, is looking for an HR & Finance Manager to join their team. This opportunity will allow you to operate within a growing, vibrant environment, working closely with the owner in their plan to modernise and develop the firm into a top personal injury practice.
The role requires close collaboration with the owner and an accounts assistant in completing the required work, including:
- Managing credit control, bank reconciliation, and client account matters.
- Having a detailed understanding of the solicitors' accounts rules and managing relationships with external accounting firms to ensure compliance.
- Managing payroll, PAYE, and pensions.
- Formalising existing training and human resources processes.
- Assisting the senior management team in communicating target compliance and facilitating training for staff.
- Planning quarterly socials and the Christmas party.
- Managing overtime and other pay requests.
