Job Purpose
To lead, coach, and develop a team of new sales starters, building their confidence, capability, and performance from initial onboarding through to full competency. This role is responsible for creating a high-performing, motivated Academy team that successfully progresses into core sales roles and contributes to overall sales success.
Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities
- Coach, mentor, and develop individuals with little or no prior sales experience
- Deliver structured and hands-on training to build core sales skills and confidence
- Support team members through onboarding and guide them to full role competency
- Set clear performance objectives and provide consistent, constructive feedback
- Monitor individual and team performance, producing regular progress reports
- Create and implement tailored development plans based on individual needs
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and high-energy team culture focused on growth and success

- Effective onboarding and development of new sales starters

- Proven experience in coaching, mentoring, or developing individuals, ideally within a sales environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire

- Highly organised, with the ability to manage multiple development plans simultaneously
