Salary: £25,000-£28,000 + Commission

My client, an FMCG food-related company, is seeking a FMCG Account Manager to join their fast-growing team. The purpose of this role is to contribute to sustaining and growing new business, as well as maintaining relationships with existing customers and driving revenue.

To apply for this role, you will need experience in New Business/Account management; experience within a food-related company/FMCG is desirable.

Daily Duties:

  • Develop a trust relationship with existing customers ensuring that all opportunities are maximised through formulating and delivering agreed Business plans.
  • Grow share of wallet/category within existing customer base.
  • Use customer data to develop and grow customer turnover to achieve sales targets.
  • Utilise promotions and other sales campaigns to grow customer relationships.
  • Achieve financial sales and cash budget.
  • Drive new business growth through direct prospecting and pipelines.
  • Deliver results and achieve individual business objectives and performance indicators while contributing to the team's goals, targets, revenue, and profitability.
  • Plan effectively for geographic area to drive maximum efficiencies.
  • Assist in existing customer retention by analysing and monitoring low or non-trade accounts.
  • Manage ledger tele canvassing and new business activity.
  • Ensure all customers are contacted for order capture and area growth.
  • Establish a robust call schedule planning weekly to ensure effective customer management across the ledger.
  • Establish a high brand saturation within the customer set.
  • Collaborate and partner with internal and external contacts, visible via CRM.
