Job Summary
To manage a portfolio of high-net-worth clients, providing exceptional customer service. The role is responsible for ensuring clients’ insurance requirements are met, managing day-to-day enquiries, maintaining strong client relationships, and supporting the wider team in delivering a professional broking service.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain a portfolio of high-net-worth insurance clients.
- Maintain accurate client records and ensure all information is updated within internal systems.
- Process new business accounts, ensuring policies are accurately placed and documentation is issued within agreed timescales.
- Manage client renewals, including reviewing cover, remarketing policies where required, and issuing renewal documentation in line with FCA requirements.
- Handle client queries, policy amendments, and mid-term adjustments relating to cover changes.
- Work collaboratively with Client Managers and colleagues to deliver excellent client service and support account management activities.
- Assist with preparation of client reports and supporting documentation.
- Identify opportunities to enhance client relationships through appropriate cross-selling and up-selling of products and services.
- Contribute towards team revenue objectives through strong client retention and new business support.
Requirements
- Previous experience within insurance, account management, client services, or a similar customer-focused role.
- Knowledge or understanding of household insurance products.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently, take ownership, and contribute positively as part of a team.
- Professional, proactive, and customer-focused approach.
- Commitment to delivering excellent client outcomes and maintaining regulatory standards.
Desirable
- Cert CII qualification or willingness to work towards completion.
- Experience working with high-net-worth clients or within a professional services environment.
- Experience using insurance systems, CRM platforms, or client databases.
- Understanding of FCA regulations and insurance compliance requirements.
