My client is looking for a Fire and Security Engineer to join their team. This role will be covering the South East – and you should be able to travel to London.
Daily Duties:
- Install, inspect, and maintain fire protection & security systems in accordance with applicable codes and standards.
- Use power tools and hand tools to assemble, install, and test fire protection equipment.
- Conduct regular inspections and testing of fire alarm systems, CCTV systems, intruder alarms, access control systems & intercoms.
- Troubleshoot and repair malfunctioning fire protection & security equipment.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of projects.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed.
- Engineer will need to be prepared to be on call (this is split between all engineers within the business).
Qualifications:
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Certification as a Fire Engineer.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Package:
- 25 days annual leave + bank holidays & birthday off.
- Overtime.
- Evening & weekend availability as overtime.
- Company vehicle (install engineers receive vans & service van/car optional).
