Our client, a well-established financial services organisation, is seeking a highly organised and customer-focused Admin Assistant to join their Operations team on a 12-month fixed-term contract. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual with strong administrative, postal, scanning, or print services experience who enjoys working in a fast-paced office environment and delivering a high level of internal customer service.
Working within the Central Services team, you will support the day-to-day delivery of print, post, scanning, and administrative services across the business. You will play a key role in ensuring operational processes run efficiently while maintaining high standards of accuracy, organisation, and communication.
Key Responsibilities:- Managing inbound and outbound post services, including classification and distribution of documents
- Delivering central printing and scanning services in line with agreed standards and service levels
- Supporting client-related administrative activities, including lead creation and client checks
- Assisting with operational projects, mailings, and regulatory-related tasks
- Providing reception and mailbox support where required
- Undertaking general office and operational duties across the wider team
- Supporting stock replenishment and occasional manual handling duties
- Previous experience within an office support, postal, print room, scanning, or administrative environment
- Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail
- Confident communication skills, both written and verbal
- Flexible and proactive approach to workload
- Good telephone manner and customer service skills
- Ability to prioritise tasks and work effectively within a team
- Financial services experience would be advantageous but is not essential
- 25 days holiday
