We are working in partnership with a well-established and highly regarded law firm to recruit a Family Solicitor (0-5 PQE) to join its growing Family Law team. This is an excellent opportunity for a newly qualified solicitor or an experienced Family Solicitor looking to develop their career within a supportive and collaborative environment. You will work alongside experienced practitioners on a varied caseload, with excellent opportunities for professional development and progression.
The Role
You will manage your own caseload of family matters while receiving support and supervision where required. The role offers exposure to a broad range of privately funded family work, providing the opportunity to build strong client relationships and deliver high-quality legal advice.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing a varied caseload of private family law matters.
- Advising clients on divorce, separation and financial remedy proceedings.
- Handling private children matters, including child arrangements and parental responsibility disputes.
- Advising on cohabitation disputes and pre- and post-nuptial agreements.
- Drafting legal documents, court applications and correspondence.
- Representing clients throughout their matter and liaising with counsel, courts and third parties where appropriate.
