The Opportunity
We are looking to appoint a Practice Manager to support the operational leadership of the business. Working closely with the Director and leadership team, the Practice Manager will help oversee the day-to-day running of the practice, ensuring that people, systems and processes operate smoothly. This is a broad and varied role suited to someone who enjoys taking ownership, improving processes, and supporting a growing business.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the management of HR processes including contracts, onboarding, absence management and appraisals
- Maintain clear reporting structures across the team
- Support the development of trainee financial planners
- Act as a key point of contact for HR-related matters
- Oversee back-office systems and internal technology
- Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and processes
- Manage relationships with IT and software providers
- Ensure data integrity and system compliance
- Support the business in meeting network and regulatory requirements
- Act as a key operational contact for compliance-related matters
- Monitor regulatory communications and ensure updates are implemented internally
- Maintain internal policies and procedures
- Oversee the smooth running of office operations
- Manage suppliers, facilities and general business administration
- Support business planning and operational projects
- Identify operational risks and implement improvements
What We’re Looking For
Essential
- Experience in a senior operations, practice management or business management role
- Experience within financial services
- Strong understanding of HR processes
- Confident working with systems and business technology
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail
Desirable
