We're working with one of the UK's leading independent insurance brokers to recruit a Senior Sales Insurance Account Handler to join their established team in Brierley Hill. This is an excellent opportunity for an insurance professional who enjoys building strong client relationships, delivering exceptional customer service, and developing a long-term career within a supportive and growing organisation. The Role As a Senior Sales Insurance Account Handler, you'll manage your own portfolio of clients, acting as their trusted point of contact for all insurance-related enquiries. You'll build lasting relationships, provide tailored insurance solutions, and ensure every client receives an outstanding level of service. Working closely with colleagues across the business, you'll play a key role in retaining and developing existing accounts while identifying opportunities to grow your client portfolio. Key Responsibilities Manage a portfolio of commercial and/or personal insurance clients. Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships through exceptional customer service. Handle client enquiries, renewals, amendments and policy administration. Provide professional insurance advice tailored to individual client needs. Identify opportunities to cross-sell and up-sell appropriate insurance products. Negotiate with insurers to secure competitive terms for clients. Ensure all work complies with FCA regulations and internal compliance procedures. Collaborate with colleagues to deliver an efficient and seamless customer experience. About You Previous experience working within the insurance industry (essential). Experience in an Account Handler, Insurance Advisor, Broker or similar client-facing role. Excellent communication and relationship-building skills. A proactive approach with the confidence to manage your own workload. Strong attention to detail and organisational skills. A commercial mindset with the ability to identify sales opportunities. A positive attitude and the ability to work collaboratively within a team. A commitment to delivering exceptional customer service while maintaining regulatory compliance. What's on Offer Competitive salary dependent on experience. Performance-related bonus scheme.
