My client is seeking a skilled and motivated Fire & Security Engineer to join a growing team. This role involves working across a range of fire protection and electronic security systems, ensuring installations, maintenance, and servicing are carried out to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, inspect, and maintain fire protection and security systems in line with relevant codes and industry standards.
- Service and testing: fire alarms, CCTV, intruder alarms, access control, and intercoms.
- Diagnose faults and carry out repairs efficiently.
- Use hand and power tools to install and test equipment.
- Complete accurate service reports and documentation.
- Work independently and as part of a team to meet deadlines.
- Participate in an on-call rota (this is shared between engineers in the department).
Requirements
- Full UK Driving Licences (clean record).
- Proven experience or certification in fire and/or security systems.
- Strong fault finding and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage workload and work under minimal supervision.
