Our client is a well-established global technology business specialising in premium visual display and imaging solutions. Their products are trusted across a range of specialist sectors including healthcare, technology, creative, enterprise and defence.
This is a varied role focused on research, prospecting and relationship building rather than traditional sales. You’ll identify target businesses, research key decision-makers, engage with potential customers and develop opportunities through the early stages of the sales process.
The role:
- Research target accounts and identify relevant decision-makers and buying influences
- Generate new opportunities through targeted telephone, email, social media and networking activity
- Respond to and follow up inbound and warm enquiries
- Build relationships with prospective customers and understand their requirements
- Qualify and nurture leads before handing them over to the Sales team
- Maintain accurate prospect and customer information within the CRM
- Work closely with Sales and Marketing to improve lead generation activity
- Support marketing campaigns, exhibitions and customer events when required
About you:
We’re looking for someone who is confident, curious and commercially minded, with excellent communication skills and an interest in developing a career within sales and marketing. You’ll ideally have experience in sales development, lead generation, business development, account management, customer service or another customer-facing role.
You should also be:
- Comfortable speaking to customers and building rapport
- Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
- Proactive and self-motivated
- Confident using CRM systems and Microsoft Office
- Resilient and able to manage multiple priorities
- Naturally curious with a strong willingness to learn
