Apprentice Mortgage Administrator Β£18,250 Blackwater Full time, Permanent β Hybrid Monday β Friday: 08:30am β 5:30pm, Fridays 5pm finish (flexibility to start earlier or finish later) A leading Mortgage and Protection Brokerage is offering an Apprenticeship in a Mortgage Administrator role, you will achieve an NVQ certification and studying 1 day work from home. You will develop your customer service and administrative skills in processing client mortgage applications, supporting for the whole process. To collect and check documentation, progressing applications and updating clients, lenders and solicitors in the chain. Responsibilities: Processing incoming client and lender documentation – including copying, checking, certifying and scanning. Regularly communicating and updating clients and lenders of case status, and to progress the case status, via telephone, email and letter. Answering incoming calls and transferring to the correct person/department. Handling sensitive information in a confidential and professional manner. Meet monthly and annual targets, including but not limited to completions, trustpilots, callstats, turnaround times and general insurance referral. Maintaining detailed records to comply with the regulations of the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA). Liaise with other related professionals such as brokers, solicitors, surveyors, underwriters, compliance, case checkers and other. Support QA and Complaints investigations with accurate and detailed statements as required. Work closely and collaboratively with other departments in the provision of great service, for example mortgage consultants in administering mortgage cases. Experience Able to demonstrate excel, word, and outlook skills Positive βcan doβ attitude Ability to work under high pressure Ability and desire to learn Good telephone sales skills, and managing performance targets.
