Reporting to the Director of Retail UK & Europe, the Senior Visual Merchandiser is responsible for implementing the global visual merchandising guidelines in our Mulberry stores and concessions across the UK and Europe. Working collaboratively with the Director of Retail, Global Visual Merchandising Manager and Area Managers, you will create excellent visual standards across the Region, ensuring a consistent and coherent Brand image.

Responsibilities
  • Creative: Work on a structured visual merchandising calendar based on window changes, merchandise delivery drops and press/marketing installations and events. Support (or input to) the Global Visual Merchandising Manager to create imaginative and effective visual merchandising stories that align with the seasonal design & commercial needs of the business. Present and create areas of theatre installations in all visual display areas that are in line with the company seasonal window calendar. Act as the key conduit of information between the Global VM teams and the UK and Europe store teams. Communicate with store teams to ensure knowledge and guidelines are cascaded.
  • Events: Support the regional and central marketing teams to bring synergy on creative for all regional marketing events. Create effective displays for marketing events.
  • Training: Guide the store leadership teams and in-store VM Ambassadors where applicable. Liaise with Area Managers & Store Leaders to identify stores needing support and set up VM training sessions to enhance visual standards and techniques. Work with store teams and train on visual standards and new techniques, utilising any appropriate training materials available from the central Training team.
  • Operations: Manage all POS use and Branding in your stores. Deliver and control window props and VM stock.
  • Culture: Embrace and demonstrate the Mulberry values and behaviours: honesty, dynamism, and a community-oriented spirit. Skills and Knowledge Required
  • Highly motivated and enthusiastic individual with previous experience in Visual Merchandising within luxury retail brands.
  • Applies creativity and innovative thinking to produce sustainable solutions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to impart detailed information in a clear and straightforward manner across a range of audiences and stakeholders.
  • Quick thinking with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
