As a Team Leader, you will be a positive role model, engaging, coaching, and supporting your team to achieve targets. You will assist your Line Manager in achieving quality and performance standards by setting, implementing, and monitoring objectives. Alongside your primary role as a QC Inspector, you will support your Line Manager with people management within your team.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Perform daily target checks.
- Encourage your team to meet targets and suggest improvements.
- Support your team through training and mentoring.
- Handle employee queries and note-taking in confidential meetings.
- Assist in monitoring health & safety compliance and report issues.
- Communicate team performance to your Line Manager.
- Suggest performance improvements and identify training needs.
- Participate in stock takes and support workforce planning.
- Ensure targets are met while adhering to company policies.
- In your Line Manager\’s absence, conduct morning meetings, manage housekeeping, log absences, and communicate responsibilities with other Team Leaders.
INSPECTION ADDITIONAL DUTIES:
- Promote quality standards and maintain KPI figures.
- In the absence of Quality Supervisor, maintain output paperwork and basic figures.
