The Role:
To follow the RTW collection from design concept to production. Communicate changes and improvements to suppliers and problem solve any quality and technical issues which are required to sign off products. Offer support to the Head of Product Development and Sourcing in daily tasks, ordering materials and samples, managing the critical path and stock maintenance.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Maintain the Critical Path following sampling and production deliveries.
- Work extremely closely with the Head of RTW Product Development & Sourcing for factory allocations. Negotiate and manage supplier relationships, ensuring competitive pricing, lead times, and MOQs.
- Collaborate with the Garment Tech to follow communication through development and production by sending technical packs to suppliers (highlighting faults/problems to the relevant parties and Design where applicable).
- Create Excel seasonal collection trackers for the collection overview and work closely with all internal teams to stay within the range plan.
- Create the brand standards in all RTW product categories that is recorded in the brand’s handbook; ensure suppliers comply with Mulberry’s standards.
- Assist with onboarding all suppliers and manufacturers ensuring they are compliant with Mulberry’s standards and have the required certification.
- Ensure all product costings align with brand pricing architecture and margin targets. Working closely with the Head of RTW Product Development & Sourcing and merchandiser.
- Input all product and BOMS into the PLM system which allows all sampling and production PO’s to be raised.
- Assist the Head of RTW Product Development & Sourcing on budget tracking/building for both, development and production. Recording all current and future spends.
- Manage all ordering of production packaging, barcodes and care labels.

- Excellent RTW product development experience.
- Excellent communication skills, written & verbal.
- Excellent organisational skills and the highest level of attention to detail.
- Comfortable building relationships at all levels.
- Strong negotiation skills.
- Experienced user of all Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong industry network across mills, manufacturers, and sourcing partners.
- Experienced in BOMs, tech packs, and fit approvals.
- Proficient in PLM systems, Excel and technical pack creation.
