The Role

An integral part of the Global Buying and Merchandising team, the Merchandising Admin Assistant role provides a crucial link between head office and the retail stores, regional teams and key departments within Mulberry.

The MAA is responsible for maximising sales and profits by analysing seasonal trends, stock performance and ensuring that the right quantities of stock are in the right location, at the right time.

Focus for this role is supporting with all operational Central Buying & Merchandising actions.

Hybrid working applies to this role, meaning you can work 3 days minimum from our beautiful office in Kensington and up to 2 days per week from home.

Main duties include controlling stock movements and stock allocation

  • Runs and updates daily/ weekly/ monthly reports to be distributed to the B&M team
  • Reflects our Global Pricing to each regional price book in the system
  • Analysing stock opportunities s and proactively working on proposing stock movements, re-prioritisation, intake
  • Supports and orders the stock required for Mulberry. com and Marketing shoots, working closely with Digital, Warehouse and Photography teams
  • Works with the Accounts, Warehouse and Retail Ops teams to process store stocktakes
  • Works cross functionally with Customer Services, Warehouse, Retail Operations, Visual Merchandising and Marketing
  • Sets and maintains ideal minimum stock levels to ensure no missed opportunities, as well as ad-hoc allocations to stores
  • Works closely with Market Support on any Group stock requests
  • Rectifies store generated discrepancies, miscellaneous sales and validation errors
  • Monitors, reports and rectifies warehouse locations in transit
  • Raises and manages purchase orders and regional allocations/requests in the system
  • Responsible for managing the adjustments for Retail warehouse locations
  • Manages or assists ad-hoc projects that arise within the B&M department
