Programme: Norwich City Council – 10-Year Major Works Partnership
Mulalley is delivering a 10-year Major Works programme for Norwich City Council, covering internal and external refurbishment across their social housing stock. This is a long-term, resident-facing programme requiring disciplined, experienced site leadership.
We are now recruiting Site Managers who know how to deliver refurbishment works in occupied environments and keep full control of safety, quality, programme, and people.
The role:
- Day-to-day site delivery of internal and external refurbishment works
- Managing site teams and subcontractors
- Maintaining control of programme, quality, and H&S compliance
- Coordinating activities and minimising disruption
- Providing clear, honest reporting on progress and risk
This is a delivery-critical role. You are expected to lead from the front.
What we’re looking for:
- Proven experience delivering social housing refurbishment works
- Background working for a Tier 1 contractor (preferred)
- Strong experience working in occupied properties
- Clear understanding of compliance, safety, and quality requirements
- Resilient, organised, and decisive under pressure
Essential qualifications:
- SMSTS
- Level 6 NVQ (or equivalent)
Desirable qualifications:
- MCIOB accreditation or a relevant degree
