Job Overview

As an Allocator, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Merchandise team to maximize sales across MUJI Europe stores. You will manage store allocations, monitor inventory intake, contribute to sales analysis, and ensure stock is accurately distributed throughout our store network.

Key ResponsibilitiesSystem Maintenance & Allocation

  • Data Management: Input product data into system management tools accurately and efficiently.
  • Orders & Replenishment: Raise purchase orders and set store replenishment levels as defined by the Assistant Merchandiser.
  • Allocation Planning: Plan allocations in Excel before executing them in the system; review and process manual store orders.
  • Pricing Actions: Execute system price updates for promotional and limited-time offers.
  • Reporting: Run merchandising reports adhering to strict deadlines.
  • Supply Chain Tracking: Monitor delivery schedules, track intake, and elevate potential delays or issues promptly.

Communication & Operations

  • Logistics & Warehousing: Coordinate regularly with warehouse teams regarding deliveries and stock distribution.
  • Store Support: Serve as a key point of contact for stores, assisting with merchandising inquiries and stock allocation issues.
  • Customs & Shipping: Handle end-to-end stock delivery processes, including required customs documentation.

General

  • Provide administrative support to the Merchandising team.
  • Proactively contribute ideas and support initiatives aimed at driving sales growth.

What We’re Looking ForSkills & Qualifications

  • Excel Skills: Intermediate to Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Numerical & Analytical Aptitude: Strong numerical skills with a keen eye for detail and data accuracy.
  • Organizational Skills: Excellent time-management abilities, capable of multitasking and meeting tight deadlines.
  • Problem-Solving Mindset: A quick thinker who can troubleshoot stock and logistics challenges efficiently.
  • Communication: Clear, friendly, and effective communication skills across stores, warehouses, and head office teams.
  • Team Player: Collaborative, adaptable, and eager to support the wider team.
  • Brand Passion: A genuine enthusiasm for MUJI’s brand values and product range.

Experience

  • Previous experience in a retail or merchandising environment is a plus
  • Experience working in a fast-paced office or supply chain setting.

Additional Information

  • Travel: Occasional UK and international travel may be required.
