Muirshiel Centre is a small, local independent charity (Registered Charity SCO) based in Port Glasgow.
For over 30 years, we have provided day opportunities and support to adults across Inverclyde, alongside a Home Maintenance Service.
Our Home Maintenance Service supports older people, disables people, and vulnerable community members to live safely and comfortably at home.
We are looking for a practical, reliable Handyperson with strong general DIY skills, basic gardening ability and experience in painting and decorating.
The role involves travelling across Inverclyde, delivering a friendly, person centred service, and ensuring work is completed safely to a high standard.
Applicants should hold a clean driving license (D1 preferred) and be willing to undergo a satisfactory PVG check.
Note: The successful candidate will be required to provide 2 references and successfully apply to the PVG scheme.
