We are looking for a Quality Engineer to join our Ramsgate team.

Job Purpose

Support the Quality Manager and Calibration function at the Ramsgate facility, whilst maintaining rigorous compliance with all industry standard regulations and procedures.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Maintaining the quality approvals, including but not limited to: AS9100, AS9110, EASA 145, FAA & Foreign approvals which includes:
    • Hosting external audits from customers, regulatory bodies & interested parties.
    • Ensuring internal and supplier audits are completed to the audit schedule and as required.
    • Ensuring the calibration system is maintained and meets regulatory requirements.
    • Ensuring the authorisation control system is maintained (Stamps).
    • Ensuring NDT staff authorisations and the NDT Manual meet the requirements of EN4179.
    • Maintenance of training record system and organising events as necessary.
    • Manage the non-conformance system and conduct investigations.
    • To lead product and system failure investigations using a variety of tools and provide appropriate containment, corrective and preventive actions.
    • Documenting processes, procedures, local instructions and forms for the company.
    • Delivering of training for regulatory requirements.
    • Comply with all safe working practices in relation to HSE policies and procedures.
    • Ensure service levels are maximised for all customers, internal & external and drive Continuous Improvement initiatives.
    • Ensure employees have the appropriate mandatory training for their role.
