About the role
For our Board Member appointments, we're particularly interested in candidates with:
- Strategic asset management experience preferably gained in the housing sector, including knowledge and expertise in stock investment, safety, sustainability and decarbonisation.
- Lived experience of social housing, or a housing sector professional who, through pro‑active customer engagement and acting upon the customer voice, can evidence delivering positive outcomes for customers.
Non-executive experience is not essential for either role but preferably one of the candidates appointed will have previous non-executive experience.
Key terms and conditions
The time commitment is approximately 20 days per year for the Board Member roles (plus induction). Board & Committee Meetings are usually held face‑to‑face at our head office in Chester on a Thursday morning. Board strategy days are held at various locations in our geography. Remuneration and expenses: Board Member £5,300 plus expenses.
