MUFG is seeking a Vice President / Director in Credit Analysis within the Japanese Corporate & Investment Banking Department in London. The successful candidate will manage a team of 2-3 junior analysts, contribute to credit analysis workflows, and support credit transactions for Japanese corporates in the UK, Ireland, and EMEA regions.
Main Responsibilities
- Lead credit and borrower rating applications, ensuring high-quality analysis and timely submissions.
- Support credit transactions, collaborate with RMs and other offices, and develop technical skills.
- Train and supervise junior analysts, manage team activities, and report to senior management.
Requirements
- Experience in credit analysis, preferably in a front office role and in a Japanese commercial bank.
- Strong knowledge of corporate finance, financial report analysis, and MUFG credit processes.
- Relevant qualifications such as CFA or accounting degrees are advantageous.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills, with a proactive approach.
