Key Responsibilities
- Support the MUFG EMEA data network and all aspects of networking, including firewall and network infrastructure.
- Take ownership of network-related incidents and troubleshoot from first alert to resolution, ensuring strong customer-facing skills when liaising with users, co-operating with team members and internal teams, and taking charge of vendors for incident resolution.
- Maintain and create comprehensive network data diagrams and documentation.
- Conduct project activities to specified timelines and deliver network data project tasks and objectives assigned to the team.
- Assist with support and maintenance of all NSS duties, including data, security and infrastructure.
- Work as per shift planned by MUFG to cover support and project delivery after office hours on-call and weekend working if required.
Skills and Experience
- Good understanding of IT layers, IP addressing and subnetting.
- Layer 3 Path Control, IPv4 redistribution, EIGRP based solutions.
- OSPF based solutions, BGP based solutions, Layer 2 switching.
- Cisco NX-OS and IOS, Cisco ACI, ISE, and Meraki.
- VLANs, high availability, multicast.
- Firewalls – Palo Alto, Check Point and Cisco ASA.
- F5 BigIP and Tetration.
- Monitoring and maintaining network performance.
- Troubleshooting multi-protocol system networks.
- Managing Cisco routing and switching.
- Network security.
