Overview
In this role, you will own and advance MUFG’s observability strategy across the EMEA technology estate, with a focus on Dynatrace SaaS. You’ll lead the migration from legacy monitoring platforms to modern solutions, collaborating with cross-functional teams to boost service reliability and visibility. You’ll shape monitoring governance, design proactive dashboards, and mentor peers in a fast-paced, security-conscious environment. Responsibilities
- Administer and optimize the Dynatrace SaaS platform (configuration, tenant management, access controls)
- Develop tagging strategies, governance frameworks, and monitoring standards across all layers
- Serve as technical authority for Dynatrace capabilities and roadmap; liaise with vendor support
- Design and implement end-to-end monitoring (infrastructure, APM, distributed tracing, RUM, synthetic, logs, analytics)
- Create dashboards, alerting, and service views to support proactive management
- Lead migration from legacy platforms (ITM, NOI) to Dynatrace; rationalise configurations
- Support decommissioning of legacy event management platforms with migration plans
- Provide Dynatrace incident response, problem resolution, and change management input
- Integrate Dynatrace with ServiceNow and automate via APIs; develop automation via Dynatrace tools
- Document platform standards, architecture diagrams, and procedures; pursue continuous automation and improvement
Key requirements
- Extensive hands-on experience with Dynatrace SaaS in large enterprise settings
- Proven track record deploying Dynatrace for infrastructure monitoring and APM
- Experience migrating from ITM/NOI to modern observability platforms
- Strong ability to design end-to-end observability strategies across infrastructure and applications
- Expertise in event correlation, deduplication and enrichment for service performance
- Troubleshooting complex platform integrations; ITIL-aligned incident management support
- Knowledge of OneAgent/ActiveGate deployment, alerting, dashboards, reporting
- Linux/Windows server knowledge; scripting in PowerShell/ Python/ Bash or similar
- Excellent stakeholder engagement, attention to detail, and continuous improvement mindset
- Experience integrating Dynatrace with ServiceNow or equivalent ITSM via APIs
