We are seeking an experienced Senior ServiceNow Engineer with specific experience of implementing and supporting the GRC modules, IRM, BCM and TPRM. Reporting to the ServiceNow Platform Manager, this role is a critical addition to the existing ServiceNow Core team. The successful candidate will work closely with the existing Senior ServiceNow Engineers to extend our ability to support and improve our use of IRM.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Be a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for the ServiceNow product set, having responsibility for its development and for the operational delivery of the service.
  • Ensure that all aspects of the service delivery to the organisation meet the necessary levels of governance and quality by adhering to the underpinning policy and procedures for the product.
  • Manage the day-to-day technical management of the ServiceNow Product suite, with specific focus on GRC.
  • Translate business requirements into ServiceNow technical solutions optimizing automation and integration.
  • Triage and estimate incoming enhancements and requests for the platform.
  • Ensure all ServiceNow enhancements and integrations align to out-of-the-box best practice and maintain a high Health Scan score.
  • Provide technical governance, guidance and approval of changes submitted for review.
  • Manage the preparation for and testing of platform upgrades.
  • Work with the relevant process owners to ensure a smooth transition of all future process automations and integrations.
  • Identify improvements and enhancements with the product that will deliver measurable cost savings or other improvements for the organisation.
  • Identify opportunities for enhancements to other products that the platform can provide based on cost savings, efficiency improvements or simplification by automation and/or streamlining.
  • Design and develop complex and critical solutions for the ServiceNow platform based on business requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with all audit and IT Security requirements (EMEA and Tokyo Head Office requirements).
  • Create and maintain documentation including Policy, Process, Procedures and supporting detailed technical reference material.
  • Ensure all relevant training materials and guides are available for the platform.
  • Oversee development and administrative tasks carried out by junior and off-shore members of the team.
  • Maintain and enhance good working relationships with stakeholders, across the region and globally to share best practices, provide support and develop effective local policies and procedures appropriate to the Company.

WORK EXPERIENCE

The role holder will have 5+ years of technical experience with implementing and supporting ServiceNow. Specifically, they will have experience of implementing and have an in-depth understanding of the IRM module.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of risk management, and ServiceNow best practices.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Expertise in root cause analysis and problem-solving techniques to address complex IT issues.
  • Regulatory Understanding: Proven experience ensuring compliance with regulatory standards in the financial/technology sector. Experience with DORA would be ideal.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Exceptional communication, leadership, and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams and drive technology initiatives.

Education / Qualifications:

  • Educated to degree level, ideally in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Relevant and current ServiceNow certifications.
  • Familiarity with frameworks such as ITIL and COBIT.
  • Experience working in regulated environments, particularly in finance, insurance, or critical infrastructure sectors.
